This is one of those performances I'd love to represent in graph form, because it's way off the scale by the end.
I probably saw the Wedding Present play this song a dozen times in the late 80s / early 90s, but it never had this kind of kick back then. (Note: the audio is out of sync with the video, but don't let that put you off!)

I've loved these guys ever since I first heard 'Bizarro'. If I could write worth a darn, I'd do that book for you all as that record helped me finally get over a relationship that had ended 3 years in the past.
When they were recording 'Watusi' in Seattle, I got to see them a couple of times at the tiny Crocodile Cafe (RIP)-- Glorious!
