I'll shut up about the Waterboys now, but there's a great clip on YouTube here, of a Decemberists show in London last week, during the encore of which the band are joined on stage by Mike Scott himself, for what looks like a fabulous rendition of "Fisherman's Blues".

I would love to see a Waterboys book, esp. on 'Fisherman's Blues' or 'This is the Sea'! It's so good to see Mike Scott up there with the Decemberists, a band I'd not heard of before reading the Replacements book. Please don't shut up about the Waterboys...
no, don't shut up about them! And do check out NoCrows -- and something I just saw, the Waterboys on RTE tv in Ireland coming up this week.
