Doolittle on Amazon.com

The next four books in the series are just about to go to the printers, and have also just appeared (in very basic form) on Amazon. So if you're interested in pre-ordering Ben Sisario's Pixies book, you can do so here.

On an unrelated note, if you're in the mood for an ever-so-slightly raunchy video, you can stream "Ramblin' Man" by Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan here.

any hints on when the current pitch announcements will be?

Steve, I'm intrigued by the Doolittle book, after reading the Spring Sampler book that I won here a few weeks back. Sisario's discussion of Surrealism's heavy influence on Black Francis was particularly interesting.

We hope to be able to announce the new books for 2007-08 by the end of this week.

Hey David

I'd like to propose a book on Violent Femmes second album, Hallowed Ground. I believe it is one of the great works of 20th century art and I think 33 1/3 would perfect be perfect platform to help spur revival of this all but forgotten work. What is the best route to get this book considered by y'all?
